What we keep, and why.

What we collect today

On this website, only what you give us. If you join the waitlist, we keep your email address, whether you tapped the link we emailed, the date you joined or left, which version of the wording you agreed to, and where you signed up. If you write to us, we keep your email address and your message.

We do not use advertising cookies, we do not run ad trackers, and we do not build a profile of you. The pages are served by Cloudflare, which sees your IP address for a short time to deliver them and to keep the site safe.

The waitlist

We email you once to confirm, and then only to tell you when the app is ready. Nothing else. Every email has a link to leave the list, and leaving takes one tap. If you never tap the confirm link, we delete your address after 30 days.

When you leave, we keep your address marked as left, so we never email you again. Ask us to delete it completely and we will.

When the app is out

The InvoiceWren app and web app will keep your email, and your name if you give it, your business details, clients, items, documents and payments, because that is the app. They will keep the mobile number or email you set for a client, so their link opens only for them.

Your documents are stored in our database in the EU. Only your account can read them, and your client can open only the document you share with them.

What we never do

We never sell your data, and we never license it to anyone. We never read your documents to sell ads. The free tool on our other site, freeinvoicegenerator.tools, never sends the contents of an invoice anywhere; only if you tick a separate box does it send a few job facts (trade, job type, 3-digit ZIP, total), never names or notes.

Who helps us run it

Cloudflare (hosting), Supabase (database, in Frankfurt), Resend (email). When the app is out: Google Play and Paddle (payments), Sentry (crash reports), Google and Apple (sign-in) and Expo (notifications). Each only gets what it needs to do its job.

Where your data goes

We are in India, our host serves pages from servers around the world, and our database is in the EU, so what you send us may be handled outside your country. We keep a waitlist address until you leave or ask us to delete it, and a message only as long as it is useful for answering you.

Your choices and rights

Wherever you live, you can ask what we hold about you, ask us to correct or delete it, or object to how we use it. In the EU, the UK and some other places you can also complain to your local data-protection authority.

Once the app is out you can export everything, any time, for free, delete your account in the app or on this website, and turn off email about Pro in one tap.

Children

InvoiceWren is for people who run a business or bill clients. It is not meant for children, and we do not knowingly collect their data.
